Poverty is a huge problem. It is when you are very poor, can't afford many necessities, and possibly can lose your home due to financial issues. 46 million Americans face poverty, which is 1/6 people. Around 1.3 billion people do not have electricity and in some of the world's poorest countries, 6/10 people can die due to lack of health and medical care when they are sick.

Even though the poverty rate in the US over the last few years is slowly dropping, low and middle-income workers have seen almost no income growth throughout the past decade. Half the world lives on less than two dollars a day, which isn't enough to afford almost any essentials needed.

When a child is born into poverty, they are 2X more likely to die before they reach age 5. Not to mention, every day 2000 children die from lack of safe water or sanitary items causing disease. People facing poverty are struggling in life and need help.

The Problem We're Facing Is Poverty.
